Agreed on every point you said.

But I think every social media site has two phases:

1.) Growing phase: Spend a lot of money to attract people to come.

2.) Monetization phase: Start making money by taking back control of everything.

I'm new here, but I think Substack is in the growth phase. That's why many people are jumping in.
