Different Goals, Different Approaches

This is the hard truth:

Others’ strategies can inspire you, but you can’t copy them directly.

because your goals and their goals are different.

your background and their background are different.

your resources and theirs are different.

Here’s a story:

I know two tech bros:

Bill: Happy coding

Bob: Burnt out

The difference?

Their goals:

Bill: Enjoys learning new tech stacks

Bob: Joined the tech career for money

Even if they have the same career, their goals make their approaches 180 degrees different.

Bill learns a new tech stack every weekend, while Bob copies Bill’s learning plan.

When Bob uses Bill’s learning plan, it doesn’t align with his values, which is why Bob is burnt out.

Sometimes, you need to cool down and ask yourself:

Are you setting the right map to achieve your goals?

You can’t copy a training plan from Cristiano Ronaldo.

You can’t copy a writing routine from Stephen King.
