Don’t let hateful comments stop you from writing.

“You’re a bad writer.”

“Your writing sucks.”

“No one wants to read your article.”

Ever gotten comments like these?

The more I write, the more I get them.

You can’t make the rain fall upward, and you can’t avoid toxic comments either.

That’s just part of the writing game.

George R.R. Martin has a $120 million net worth and two million words in Game of Thrones, but that didn’t stop people from calling him a “bad writer.”

Even big-name writers get hate.

If they can’t dodge it, why should you?

I remember the first time I got a comment like that.

It drove me crazy.

  • I doubted myself. What did I do wrong?
  • I was scared to even touch the keyboard.
  • I wanted to quit.

But now?

Leave those comments. I don’t give a sh*t.

Whatever you write, someone will love it, hate it, or ignore it.
