Hardest Month on Medium — How Much Did I Make?

Did I hit my goal?

6 months ago, I started writing on Medium.

I remember when I got my first online money via Stripe. It felt unreal. Well, an ordinary househusband makes money with a laptop.

I had never written something and shared it online before, so in the next month, I decided to give it a shot on Medium.

My earnings are growing, even if it’s slow.

I can buy a small coffee, then ice cream, then sushi.

I hope my earnings will continue to grow, as they have until last month.

I’m confused.

Last May, I made $170. I started this month with a strong belief that I could hit $350.

But my earnings started dropping slowly.

What confuses me more is that my reads are growing. I publish the same genre and comment as much as I did in May.

In May, my EPR was $0.20. In June, my average EPR is $0.08.

How did it drop so much? Then I started a rescue plan.

I wrote about Medium — failed.

I wrote about writing — and failed.

I tried everything that used to work, but sadly, not this time.
