You want to write consistently

But don’t have 30 minutes to write?

How do you find 30 minutes to write?

That’s the wrong question. It leads you to a dead end.

The truth is, if you can’t find 30 minutes to write now, you won’t. That’s it.

If everyone could find 30 minutes each day to improve themselves, everyone would have six-packs and drive Lamborghinis.

Even though we know the benefits of just 30 minutes of good habits, we still don’t do it.

Instead, we spend hours scrolling TikTok.

Don’t think about selling benefits like, “You only need 30 minutes to change your life by writing.”

No. We like to think of humans as rational beings, but that’s not true.

Read my lips: Selling benefits that require extra effort doesn’t work.

We take action based on emotions, then justify it with logic.

Extra effort exhausts us, leading us to relapse into activities that provide immediate joy.

So, asking how to find 30 minutes is the wrong question.

The right question is: How can I make writing so fun that I can’t resist doing it?

Because when writing brings you joy, you’ll find 30 minutes to write.

You’ll choose writing over TikTok.

You’ll choose writing over Netflix.

You’ll choose writing over OnlyFans.

Makes sense?

How do you make writing fun?

It’s simple: write about what you love until you love writing.

In the beginning, I wrote about FC24 (a soccer game) that I got as a Christmas gift from my wife.

I wrote about what I loved.

It sounds simple, even silly—but that’s what kept me writing early on.

The next step is using a reward system.

I’ll admit it: I’m just an ordinary person.

What motivates me to do what I don’t like is the reward.

I rewarded myself with pizza every time I finished my paperwork (which I absolutely hate).

Fortunately, writing itself became my reward.

Now, I just give myself an iced latte, and that’s enough to keep me writing.
I feel like I lift a weight off my shoulders every time I hit publish.

Stop asking how to find time to improve yourself.

If that worked, it would’ve worked since Burger King was still a Burger Prince.

Instead, ask yourself:

How can I make my healthy habits fun?

If you can make these things fun:

  • Weight training
  • Writing
  • Reading
  • Learning a new language
  • Cardio
  • Eating veggies

You’ll unlock the secret to becoming a better version of yourself—without torturing yourself.
