My October 2024 writing goals (not just for Medium)

Here is my September wrap-up:

• 54 articles on Medium
• 929 comments + replies
• $796 in earnings
• +1,618 followers

Now, here is my October plan.

1.) Medium

This will be my third attempt.

Last month, I failed to meet my goal.

Again.

I couldn’t write 60 articles in my first 10 days.

But the reasons are different.

• The first attempt failed because I wrote too slowly.
• The second attempt failed because I ran out of ideas.

I can say, push your limits, and you will see what you’ve never seen.

But this month, I will lower my goal.

From “Write 60 stories in the first 10 days” to “Publish 2 stories every day in October.”

2.) Substack

Dan Koe once said, “Stick to X if you don’t have 50,000 followers yet.”
X has 500 million visits per month, while Medium has 100 million visits per month.
