Nothing Can Stop Writers Who Write for Internal Validation

Don’t let external noise disturb you.

Anything can stop writers who write for external validation.

  • Earnings drop? You quit.
  • No one reads? You quit.
  • Unmotivated to write? You quit.

I used to seek validation.

I waited for permission.

That led to stagnation.

You’re the one who controls your driving wheel.

  • Not your views.
  • Not your likes.
  • Not your shares.

Your internal drive should be the loudest voice in your mind, not others’ opinions.

Put your headphones on if the noise is too loud.

A 78% read ratio and $0.02 per read — impressive.

I remember when my earnings dropped.

I spent 10 hours researching and writing 1,000-word articles that only made $3.

I admit I wanted to quit because of the earnings drop.

But if I love what I do, why should I give up because I don’t get what I want?
