When you don’t know your voice, you feel disconnected from who you are.

When you’re disconnected from yourself, forget about the readers.

They will never connect with your message.

There are 3 types of writing voices:

  1. Entertainer
  2. Motivator
  3. Educator

Here’s how I found my voice:

1.) Look at what you’re consuming.

What videos are in your YouTube history?

List your last 10 and see what patterns you notice.

Remember, people learn by copying what they see, and we often like to create things similar to what we consume.

If your history is filled with funny or entertaining videos, that’s okay.

Just accept who you are and let your voice shine.

2.) Be a Shadow.

If you don’t know what your voice looks like, try shadowing others.

Here’s what I do:

  1. Pick one motivator.
